Philadelphia, Pa. - (April 28, 2013) - Competing in only two events on the final day of the Penn Relays, the Fordham track & field team made statements in both, setting a school record in the women's 4x800 College Championship of America event, while the men's 4x800 relay placed second in the college division.

In the women's 4x800 Championship of America, Fordham's group of Kristen Stuart, Melissa Higgins, Titi Fagade, and Mara Lieberman placed 11th overall in a school record time of 8:48.06. The old record was 8:54.18, set back in 2009.

In the college division of the men's 4x800 relay, Fordham's team of Ryan Polo, John Cosgrove, Lester Taylor, and Kevin Fitzgerald earned a second place finish in 7:29.83.
