Princeton, N.J. - (May 11, 2012)- The Fordham track & field team began its three-day stint at the 2012 ECAC/IC4A Outdoor Track & Field Championship on Friday in Princeton, New Jersey. The Rams will be competing in a total of 14 events, which began with three on Friday night.

Fordham opened with senior Brian Riley posting a time of 9:21.29, which placed him 23rd in the 3,000 meter steeplechase event.

The competition moved onto the 10,000 meter run, where sophomore Anisa Arsenault placed 15th overall in a time of 36:56.51.

The Rams' final entry on day one was junior Julian Saad in the 5,000 meter run, however, Saad was unable to finish the race, taking a DNF.

Day two of the championship begins at 10:00 AM on Saturday.
