New York, N.Y. - (Feb. 23, 2012) - The last stop on the way to the 2012 ECAC/IC4A Indoor Track & Field Championship took place on Thursday at the Last Chance Invitational, held at the Armory Track & Field Center.
Fordham had only one entry, but it was a strong one in sophomore David Fajoyomi, who won the Atlantic 10 high jump title this past weekend. In this meet, Fajoyomi again came out on top, winning the high jump event, clearing a season-best height of 6' 11 ¾", and bettering his IC4A qualifying mark.
In all, Fordham posted 18 ECAC/IC4A qualifiers for the Championship, which will take place March 3-4 in Boston, Massachusetts.
