Track & Field Opens Two-Day Stay at Raleigh Relays

Raleigh, N.C. – (March 27, 2026) – Members of the Fordham track & field team started a two-day stint at the 2026 Raleigh Relays on Friday.
 
FRIDAY HIGHLIGHTS

• Sam Freeman was the lone men's competitor on Friday, taking 21^st overall in the 400-meter dash in a personal-best time of 47.64 seconds.
• In the women's 400-meter dash, Alexandra Williams took 32^nd with a time of 55.89 seconds.
• Kylie Ritz posted a personal-best time in the women's 100-meter hurdles, placing 21^st in 14.29 seconds.
• Jodie Pierce had the best run for a Ram in the women's 1,500 meters since 2011, as she clocked in at 4:28.82 (88^th overall).
• In the women's 3,000-meter steeplechase, Meredith Gotzman was 58^th overall with a time of 11:08.04
• Zoe Arakelian and Leia Ruvo were the final competitors, taking part in the women's high jump, as Arakelian tied for 13^th, clearing 5' 5 ¾", while Ruvo tied for 45^th at 5' 3 ¾".

• The rest of the Raleigh Relays takes place on Saturday, March 28^th, while Fordham will also be at the Rider 5-Way Invitational on Saturday in New Jersey.
