Track & Field Finishes Competition at ECAC/IC4A Championship

Boston, Mass. – (February 8, 2026) – The Fordham track & field team concluded its stay in Boston for the 2026 ECAC/IC4A Indoor Track & Field Championships at the BU Track & Tennis Center.
 
The Fordham women ended up tenth in the team standings, while the men were 20^th.
 
ECAC/IC4A CHAMPIONSHIP – DAY TWO HIGHLIGHTS

• The highlight of the day saw Kylie Ritz break the school record in the women's 60-meter hurdles, scoring third overall in 8.67 seconds.
• Fordham also earned bronze in the women's distance medley relay, as the team of Meredith Gotzman, Alexandra Williams, Brenna Sears, and Jodie Pierce ran a season-best time of 11:38.74.
• Sam Freeman scored seventh in the finals of the men's 200-meter dash at 21.95 seconds.
• In the women's 500-meter run, Alondra Baez scored eighth overall with her best time of the season at 1:16.79.
• Alexis Smith just missed the scoring column, placing ninth in the women's 1,000 meters at 3:02.89.
• Eben Tyre (500 meters – 1:06.14), Matthew Febles (1,000 meters – 2:31.77), and Noah Rubenstein (shot put – 46' 0") each finished 13^th in their respective men's events.
• Alexandra Manetovic posted a season-best mark of 37' 1" in the women's triple jump, good for 14^th overall.

• Fordham is back in Boston next weekend for the BU David Emery Valentine Invitational with the men's event on February 13^th and the women's events on February 14^th.
