Track & Field Finishes Busy Weekend at BU & Yale

Boston, Mass./New Haven, Conn. – (February 14, 2026) – The Fordham track & field team wrapped up a busy weekend on Saturday, as members of the Fordham women's team were at the BU David Hemery Valentine Invitational at the BU Track & Tennis Center, while other members of the team were at Yale's Giegengack Invitational.
 
VALENTINE INVITATIONAL HIGHLIGHTS

• All of the women's events were held on Saturday, as Fordham was led by Alexandra Williams, who posted a season-best time of 56.28 seconds in the 400-meter dash invitational, placing 20^th overall, while also running 25.36 seconds in the 200-meter dash invitational (38^th).
• Nicole Lytle was eighth overall in the 60-meter hurdles invitational event, posting a time of 9.03 seconds.
• Kylie Ritz was 19^th in the 60-meter dash invitational at 7.86 seconds, while Caroline Fallona tied for 15^th in the regular edition of the 60-meter dash in 8.14 seconds.
• Kathleen Keefe posted a time of 59.93 seconds in the 400-meter dash (85^th).
• In the 1,000 meters, Lauren Raimy ran 2:58.81 (33^rd), followed by Sophia Oliva in 3:04.97 (45^th).
• The mile run saw Jodie Pierce run 4:53.23 (76^th) with Alexis Smith clocking in at 5:09.34 (189^th).
• The final track event for the Rams was the 3,000 meters, where Fabianna Szorenyi (149^th) and Meredith Gotzman (150^th) finished right behind each other at 9:58.34 and 9:58.35, respectively.
• Alexandra Manetovic was the lone field event competitor, placing eighth in the triple jump at 36' 11 ¾".

GIEGENGACK INVITATIONAL HIGHLIGHTS

• Alondra Baez was the top women's finisher for the Rams, taking second in the 400 meters at 59.11 seconds, while Dillyn Green was sixth in 1:00.92.
• Tomara Seid placed fifth in the triple jump at 36' 3 ½", while being 15^th in the long jump at 16' 11 ½".
• Ciara McGroary grabbed eighth in the 3,000 meters, clocking in at 11:14.57, while Michaela Gier (pole vault – 10' 8") and Katelin Cruikshank (high jump – 4' 11") were both seventh in their respective events.
• Quincy Biddle also had a top ten finish, placing eighth in the mile run at 5:18.76.
• The top men's performer was Bradford Duchesne, as he posted a fifth place finish in the 3,000 meters at 8:38.44, while Jimmy Hernandez was sixth (8:43.17) and Daniel DiTunno took ninth (8:47.79).
• Anan Bauman was ninth in the 800 meters at 2:01.03 with Jake Frayler in 11^th at 2:02.60.
• In the field events, Luke Cramer was second in the triple jump at 42' 9 ¾", while Noah Rubenstein was seventh in the shot put at 47' 1 ¾".

• The Rams now prepare for the 2026 Atlantic 10 Indoor Track & Field Championship, which will take place February 27-28 at the Virginia Beach Sports Center in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
