BRONX, N.Y.  – With one final addition to the 2025 roster for Fordham University Volleyball, head coach Ian Choi announced the addition of Gabby Destler Friday afternoon.

The sophomore outside hitter spent her rookie campaign at LMU, after playing three years of high school volleyball all at the varsity level, in addition to playing for San Gabriel Elite Roshambo on the club side. Named to the all-tournament team at the Nike Tournament of Champions her senior season, Destler was ranked the number 16 outside hitter in the state of California heading into college by PrepDig.

"Excited to have Gabby to add some further depth to our squad," said Coach Choi. "She'll complement our style of a balanced offense particularly with her ball control."

The 2025 volleyball lineup features 11 returning players including a trio of seniors, four juniors, and four sophomores, along with the additions of Destler and five freshmen heading into the fall.
