RICHMOND, VA --The Fordham volleyball team jumped out to a 1-0 lead, but a rally by the home side saw VCU take Saturday's penultimate game of the regular seasonĀ in four sets (27-25, 16-25, 14-25, 16-25).
The loss dropped Fordham's record to 9-18 overall and 3-14 in Atlantic 10 action.
Erynn Sweeney finished with nine kills on the day to lead the Rams offense. Defensively, had two players reach double figures in digs as Lola Fernandez had 14 and Zoe Talabong had 12. From the front row, Sophia Kuyn contributed eight blocks and Sweeney added five rejections.
