St. John’s Associate Head Coach joins Rams

Bronx, N.Y. - Bryan Weber, associate head coach at Big East member St. John's University, has been named the head women's volleyball coach at Fordham University, as announced today by Director of Athletics Charles Guthrie.

"Bryan is a phenomenal addition to the Fordham Ramily," said Guthrie. "He is a man of tremendous integrity and passion, and he is more than capable of bringing our program to a competitive level of respect and prominence within the A-10 Conference. Moreover, Bryan embraces the core academic values and the drive to provide a top-notch student-athlete experience that we expect at Fordham."

"I am deeply honored to be Fordham's next Head Volleyball Coach," said Weber. "This University has a history of top-notch academic success and an inspiring commitment to building its athletics programs into competitive excellence —and does it all in the greatest city in the world. It's my goal that each student-athlete who comes through this program is truly proud of their time spent here and graduates ready to conquer anything that life brings. I look forward to supporting our student-athletes in any way I can to ensure success on and off the court."

Weber joins the Rams after a successful tenure at St. John's, where he served since 2014 and was promoted to Associate Head Coach in 2021. In 2024, he helped lead the Red Storm to a 20-win season and a semi-final appearance in the NIVC Tournament. In 2023, Weber and the St. John's staff were honored as the BIG EAST Coaching Staff of the Year after guiding the program to its 13th 20-win season and an appearance in the BIG EAST conference title game.

A graduate of SUNY New Paltz where he earned a bachelor of science in marketing, Weber also earned a master's degree in sport management from St. John's University.
