Atlantic 10 Release
 
Bronx, N.Y. - Fordham University freshman Jeremy Victoria was named Atlantic 10 Under Armour Men's Tennis Rookie of the Week for matches played from April 14-20 it was announced by the league office today.
 
Victoria was a perfect 2-0 in singles action on the week, including a big come-from-behind win at Saint Joseph's to clinch the match for the Rams. He opened the week with a straight set win over Sacred Heart's Percy Meehan, 6-1, 6-3, at sixth singles on Wednesday. He then closed out the week on Saturday with a thrilling win over Saint Joseph's Eli Gan-Dy at sixth singles. Victoria won the first set, 6-3, before dropping the second, 6-2. Trailing 5-2 in the third set, he rallied to take the set, 7-6(3), clinching the win for Fordham.
 
The fourth-seeded Rams, Fordham's best ever seed at the championship, open play at the 2025 Atlantic 10 Championship on Thursday, April 24, against fifth-seeded Davidson at 4:30 p.m. at the USTA National Campus in Orlando, Fla.
