Atlantic 10 Men's Tennis Championship Central
Bronx, N.Y. – The Fordham University men's tennis squad received the number four seed for the 2025 Atlantic 10 Championships to be held at USTA National Campus in Orlando, Fla., from April 23-26. This is the highest seed ever earned by the Rams at the Atlantic 10 Championship, surpassing the 2019 squad which earned a six-seed. Fordham will open play on Thursday, April 24 against fifth-seeded Davidson at 4:30 PM.
The Fordham men closed out the regular season with a 9-8 dual match record, winning six of their last seven matches. The nine victories are the most wins for the Rams since 2019.
Fordham will be led into the championship by freshman
Filip Horak, who was 14-4 this year, 11-2 in dual matches, while also recording nine wins in doubles play. Junior
Dhillon Virdee-Oakley has compiled 12 singles wins this year, playing mostly at first singles, along with 12 doubles victories while freshman
Will Lokier, who is 11-6 in singles action on the season with ten doubles wins.
