WASHINGTON – Picking up two victories in a pair of stellar outings in the circle this weekend, Fordham University Softball's Holly Beeman was named the Atlantic 10 Pitcher of the Week for the second week in a row.

Continuing her stellar start to the season, the junior pitcher tallied a pair of complete game victories, giving up just one run over 15 innings pitched at the Garnet and Black Invitational hosted by No. 24/21 South Carolina. Beeman tossed a full seven innings in a 2-1 victory over UNLV on Friday, before closing the weekend with an eight-inning shutout performance over Boston College in a 1-0 pitchers' duel Sunday afternoon.

Over her last three games dating back to last weekend, Beeman has allowed just one run over 22 innings pitched, and for the season has thrown a complete game in each of her six appearances. Holding a 4-2 record with a 1.28 ERA thus far, the Lake Oswego, Ore. native has allowed just eight earned runs in 43.2 innings pitched, while recording 23 strikeouts.

After two trips to the Carolina's and a venture to South Texas over the last three weekends, the Rams will have next weekend off before playing their first game of the year in the Empire State, making the short trip over to Iona for a single game on Mar. 5 at 3:00 p.m. in New Rochelle.
