Bronx, N.Y. – Fordham senior outfielder Neleh Nogay and freshman infielder Sadira Forcucci were both honored by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) being named Division I Second Team All-Northeast Region it was announced today.
 
Nogay, who was also named Second Team All-Region last year, was named First Team All-Atlantic 10 this spring, her fourth straight A-10 honor. She leads the Atlantic 10 with a .390 batting average (69-177) with one double, one triple, and ten RBI. She leads A-10 in hits (69) and runs (51), is fourth in the conference in on base % (.471), and seventh in walks (26). Her career .373 batting average is a school record.
 
On the basepaths, Nogay is second in the A-10, and eighth in the NCAA, with 34 stolen bases and this year she became Fordham's career stolen base leader with 117.
 
Forcucci had one of the best freshman campaigns in school history, earning Second Team All-Atlantic 10 and Atlantic 10 All-Rookie Team honors. She is second on team with a .349 (51-146) batting average and leads the team with nine home runs and 46 RBI. Forcucci leads A-10 in RBI and is third in home runs, sixth in hits (51), slugging percentage (.603) and OPS (1.051), and eighth in batting average. She has 12 multi-RBI games, including four three-RBI games and two-four RBI games. Forcucci has started at four positions: second base (19), third base (16), designated player (8), and right field (4).
 
Fordham, the 2026 Atlantic 10 champions, open play at the NCAA Fayetteville Regional on Friday, May 15, by facing the University of Arkansas at 5:30 p.m. (EDT)
