Hampton, Va. – (February 21, 2025) – Day three of the 2025 Atlantic 10 Swimming & Diving Championship has finished at the Hampton Aquaplex in Virginia.
Through day three, the Fordham women stayed in fourth place out of 11 teams with 264 points.
The night of finals started off with the 100 butterfly, where
Jessica Zebrowski picked up her second medal of the championship. She finished third to take the bronze medal in a season-best time of 53.87 seconds.
Next was the 400 individual medley, as the Rams had two swimmers qualify for the championship final with
Ainhoa Martin and
Emilie Krog. Martin ended up defending her 400 IM crown, winning the event with an NCAA "B" cut time of 4:13.40, while Krog scored sixth at 4:20.90.
The next scoring event for the Rams was the 100 breaststroke, as
Emma Shaughnessy took sixth overall in 1:02.60.
Fordham found the podium again with
Leire Martin in the 100 backstroke. Martin captured the bronze medal with a season-best time of 54.00 seconds.
In the three-meter dive,
Mya Bokerman scored 11
th overall with a score of 254.45 points.
The last individual event was the 200 freestyle, where Fordham's top performer was
Daisy Mitchell in 19
th place at 1:53.12.
In the final event of the night, the Rams' 400 medley relay team of L. Martin, Shaughnessy, A. Martin, and Zebrowski scored fourth in a season-best time of 3:40.95.
The final day of competition for the 2025 Atlantic 10 Championship starts at 10:00 AM on Saturday with preliminary heats, followed by finals at about 6:00 PM.
