Hampton, Virginia – (February 19, 2026) – The Fordham women's swimming & diving team sits in fifth place after day two of the 2026 Atlantic 10 Swimming & Diving Championship, which is being held at the Hampton Aquaplex in Virginia.
In the team standings, the top five teams are Richmond with 242 points, followed by George Washington (214), Duquesne (189), La Salle (174), and Fordham (168).
FORDHAM – DAY 2 WOMEN'S HIGHLIGHTS
- Five women's events were held on Thursday with the 500 freestyle, 200 individual medley, 50 freestyle, three-meter dive, and 200 freestyle relay.
- The opening final of the night was the 500 freestyle, where three Rams were in the finals. Daisy Mitchell made the "B" final, scoring 12th in 4:57.66, while Hayley Clark and Campbell Stever qualified for the championship.Clark just missed the podium in fourth place with a season-best time of 4:53.07, while Stever was fifth at 4:54.80.
- In the 200 individual medley, Karina Kanary scored fifth in the championship final with a time of 2:01.11.
- Two Rams made the finals of the 50 freestyle, starting with Lexi Lundell in the "B" final, scoring 14th in 23.39 seconds. Saskia Aikman then just missed the podium with a fourth place finish in the championship final in a season-best time of 22.90 seconds.
- The three-meter dive was next, where Katie Laverty and Mya Bokerman made the finals. Bokerman was in the "B" final, scoring 13th at 250.50, while Laverty ended up fifth in the championship final (288.50).
- The last women's event on Thursday was the 200 freestyle relay, where Fordham's team of Aikman, Lundell, Allison Kim, and Magdalena Wlodarkiewicz scored fifth in a season-best time of 1:31.87.

- Day three of the Championship is on tap for Friday, February 20th with the 100 butterfly, 400 IM, 200 freestyle, 100 breaststroke, 100 backstroke, the men's three-meter dive, and the 400 medley relay.Preliminary races start at 10:00 AM with the finals at 6:00 PM.
