Lewisburg, Pa. – (November 23, 2024) – The Fordham swimming & diving team continued its three-day stay at the Bucknell Invitational on Saturday in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania. After day two, the Fordham women are fourth out of seven teams with 610.5 points, while the men moved into fourth out of six teams with 690.5 points.
The night of finals started with the 200 medley relay, where both Fordham squads took second overall.
Leire Martin,
Emma Shaughnessy,
Jessica Zebrowski, and
Allison Kim earned second place in 1:42.08, while
Christian Taylor,
Noah Althoff,
Vitalis Onu, and
Daniel Ribeiro posted a time of 1:27.96.
The next event was the 400 individual medley, where
Ainhoa Martin paced the women with a third place finish at 4:19.24, followed by
Emilie Krog in ninth (4:22.63),
Tera Brilmyer in 18
th (4:31.94), and
Miranda Bonitatebus in 20
th (4:33.93). For the men,
Daniel Langlois led the way in fifth place at 4:02.88.
Juan Abella was also 22
nd (4:08.24) with
John Koebel in 24
th (4:11.08).
Then in the 100 butterfly,
Jessica Zebrowski won the women's event in 54.20 seconds with L. Martin in fifth (55.54). Fordham then had four swimmers score in the "C" final with Kim in 17

Madeline Bergin in 23
rd (59.40). For the men, Ribeiro (48.04) and Onu (49.33) were third and sixth, respectively, with

Next up was the 200 freestyle, where Krog scored for the second time, as she tied for fifth in 1:51.02 with

rd in 1:54.61. On the men's side, Althoff was fourth in the event at 1:38.66, followed by
Frankie Sanger (10
th – 1:39.69),
Jesse Abramson (13

The 100 breaststroke came next with Shaughnessy grabbing second overall in 1:01.81 with A. Martin in seventh (1:03.37) and

st (1:06.48). Six men then scored in the 100 breaststroke, including Langlois (6

The lone diving event was the men's one-meter dive, as
Marco Petit scored 16
th with a score of 170.35.
Day two finished with the 800 freestyle relay, as the women's team of Krog, A. Martin, L. Martin, and Zebrowski was second in 7:26.13, while the men's group of Sanger, Althoff, Abramson, and Champagne were third in 6:38.39.
Day three of the Bucknell Invitational begins at 10:00 AM on Sunday with preliminary trials with finals at 5:00 PM.
