Contoocook, N.H. – (November 15, 2024) – The Fordham cross country teams put a bow on their 2024 season on Friday at the NCAA Northeast Regional, held at the Hopkington Fairgrounds in Contoocook, New Hampshire.
The Rams finished 35
th in the women's team standings, while the men were 33
rd.
In the women's race,
Katarina Birimac, despite being a bit under the weather, performed well, placing 76
th overall on the 6K course in a time of 21:30.59.
Sophia Oliva was the next Rams across the line in 216
th place at 23:19.88. She was followed in by the trio of
Sophia Viscon (232
nd – 23:35.14),
Lauren Raimy (235
th – 23:36.61), and
Grace Kenny (251
st – 24:15.46).
On the men's side,
Tadael Mihret was the top finisher for the Rams in 158
th place over the 10K course in 32:50.54, quickly followed by
Sean Reidy in 166
th place at 32:55.75.
Darren Croke was the next Fordham runner over the line in 200
th (33:25.21) with
Bradford Duchesne (206
th – 33:29.53),
Lucas Rohde (215
th – 33:52.47), and
Matthew McDevitt (246
th – 35:10.00) rounding out the participants.
