Bronx, N.Y. – (January 11, 2024) – After a month away from competition, the Fordham track & field team is back in action this Friday at the TCNJ Lions Indoor Invitational, held at the Armory Track & Field Center in New York.
The meet is slated for a 10:00 AM start with 16 events listed for competition.
The field events will have competitors in the pole vault, shot put, weight throw, high jump, triple jump, and long jump events, while the track events will be the 60-meter dash, 60-meter hurdles, mile run, 400 meters, 800 meters, 500 meters, 200 meters, 3,000-meter run and the 4x400 relay.
This is the third straight season that Fordham will compete at the TCNJ Lions Indoor Invitational.
Some Rams will see their first action of the indoor season after a successful cross country campaign, including
Steven Zucca and
Colin Flood for the men and
Meredith Gotzman and
Sarah Zahaykevich for the women
