Track & Field’s Titi Fagade to be Inducted Into Athletic Hall of Fame

Eight new members to join likes of Vince Lombardi and Frankie Frisch

Bronx, N.Y. - Eight individuals will be enshrined into the Fordham University Athletic Hall of Fame on Thursday, October 5. Those making up the 2023 Hall of Fame class are Samantha Clark FCRH '16 (Women's Basketball), Chase Edmonds FCRH '18 (Football), Titi Fagade Gabelli '15 (Women's Track and Field), Elise Fortier FCRH '14 (Softball), Jason Harris FCRH '01 (Men's Basketball), Nick Macarchuk (Former Men's Basketball Head Coach), Ifeatu Otue FCRH '73 (Men's Soccer), and Natali Sunara FCRH '96 (Women's Tennis).
 
The eight will join the likes of Frankie Frisch, Vince Lombardi, Wellington Mara and Vin Scully in the Fordham Athletics Hall of Fame when the new class is inducted on October 5 under the Homecoming tent on Edwards Parade as part of Homecoming weekend festivities.
Titi Fagade was a five-year letter winner on the women's track and field team, garnering several accolades as a sprinter and middle distance runner. Fagade holds school indoor records in the 400m, 500m, and 800m and with the 4x400 and 4x800 relays. Her outdoor records include the 800m and with the 4x400 relay. Fagade was selected Second Team All-Atlantic 10 in the 800m in three consecutive indoor seasons from 2012 to 2015, while being named the indoor Team MVP in 2011-12, 2012-13, and 2014-15. During the 2013 outdoor season, Fagade anchored the 4x800m relay that competed in the Championship of America at the Penn Relays. The relay was the first in women's program history to qualify for the Championship, as well as the first relay, men or women, to compete for Fordham at the Penn Relays since 1978. Fagade received the Hobbs Family Award to close out her Rams career as Fordham's Female Athlete of the Year in 2015.

Congratulations to the Fordham Athletic Hall of Fame Class of 2023! Each of these individuals' contributions are an integral part of the proud history of Fordham Athletics, and their legacies will be forever remembered and celebrated.
