Richmond, Va. - The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) has selected 718 teams to the Scholar All-America Team for the Spring 2023 semester. Teams were selected on the basis of their Spring 2023 team grade point averages and represent 17,497 student-athletes.
The Fordham University men's and women's swimming and diving teams earned that honor for the 20th consecutive year after the teams posted team GPAs of 3.59 (men) and 3.59 (women) respectively this past semester.
Instituted during the 2003-04 academic year, the Scholar All-America Team award is presented to a team competing at the NCAA, NAIA, or junior college levels, and maintains a GPA of a 3.0 or better. The GPA includes all athletes who competed in any competition during the course of the season.Â
