Bronx, N.Y. – Fordham volleyball head coach
Ian Choi has announced the hiring of Chris Sullivan as assistant coach for the upcoming 2023 season. Sullivan replaces Tina Predojevic, who spent two years with the program.

"We're tremendously lucky to have a coach with this kind of robust experience in college and club from the Mecca of Volleyball supporting all facets of our program." Choi said, "Chris will immediately take over our blocking schemes and be our middle blockers positional coach."
Sullivan arrives in the Bronx with a decade's worth of coaching experience since graduating from the University of the Pacific. After six years as a coach in California, all six with San Gabriel Elite and three at La Canada High School, Sullivan went abroad to Colchester, England. There, he earned his Master's degree at the University of Essex and served as head coach of Tendring, a semi-pro ladies club team at England's highest level that Sullivan helped win its first-ever National Volleyball League Championship.
Since returning stateside, Sullivan has spent the past four years at Poly Prep Country Day School, as assistant varsity coach, and with Brooklyn Elite, serving as their Assistant Club Director. With the former, he's helped coach the girls varsity squad to three straight NYSAIS championships. With the latter, he has a litany of roles and responsibilities, including head coach of the 17-1 girls team that attends seven tournaments, including Junior Nationals.
Sullivan joins an incoming five-person 2023 recruiting class, made up of libero
Lola Fernandez, middle blocker
Tatum Holderied, middle blocker
