Providence, R.I. – The Fordham men's tennis team opened its spring season with a trip up to Brown University, falling to the Bears, 7-0.
"Considering it was the first match of the season I was extremely pleased," said head coach David Slater. "Coming to a place like Brown is not an easy start. The team played well and had a great attitude. In doubles play we were only a few points away from potentially taking the doubles point. In singles, some matches were very close in level with some great individual performances."
