Orlando, Fla. – The seventh-seeded Fordham men's tennis team opened the 2026 Atlantic 10 Championship with a 4-1 win over tenth-seeded St. Bonaventure University on Wednesday at the USTA National Campus. With the win the Rams advance to tomorrow's quarterfinals as they will face second-seeded Saint Jospeh's at 11:30 a.m.
 
The match opened with the Rams taking the doubles point, winning both completed doubles matches. Will Lokier and Mateusz Gradzki got it started with a 6-0 win over Luke Ollivierre and Chase Cahill-Welsh at third doubles before Filip Horak and Nicolas Garnier clinched the point with a 7-6 (4) win at second doubles over Connor Turner and Dilraj Singh Dhillon.
 
Horak gave the Rams a 2-0 lead with a 6-0, 6-3, decision over Turner at third singles before the Bonnies took first singles to make it a 2-1 match. But Ruben Russwurm defeated Chase Cahill-Welsh at the sixth position, 6-2, 6-0, before Diego Cueto clinched the win with a 6-1, 6-3 win over Luke Ollivierre at fifth singles.
