IC4A Championship Results
Bronx, N.Y. – (October 14, 2022) – It was a loaded field of teams for Friday's ECAC/IC4A Cross Country Championship, held at Van Cortlandt Park, as teams prepare for the NCAA Regional Championship, which will be held at VCP later in November.
A total of 31 men's teams and 34 women's teams took part on Friday with close to 700 overall runners.
The men's IC4A Championship was won by Princeton with 33 points, followed by Cornell (60), Stony Brook (87), UMass Lowell (124), and Yale (208) to round out the top five teams. Fordham cracked the top ten in tenth place in the team standings with 323 points.
Individually, Princeton's Anthony Monte won the 8K race in a time of 23:52.8, just about 10 seconds in front of second place finisher Rhys Hammond of Cornell.
For Fordham,
Steven Zucca was the top performer, placing 21
st overall in the 358-runner field in a time of 24:41.4.
Nathan Bezuneh was the next Ram across the line in 53
rd at 25:22.5 with
Colin Flood in 76
th at 25:41.5.

The women's ECAC Championship was won by Stony Brook with 105 points, followed by Richmond (177), New Hampshire (179), Cornell (185), and Harvard (187). Fordham placed 22
nd in the team standings with 593 points.
Kenzie Doyle of UMass Lowell was the individual winner, clocking in at 20:45.1 over the 6K course, about 10 seconds ahead of Annabelle Eastman of George Mason (20:55.4).

th at Pole Green Park in Mechanicsville, Virginia.
