Fairfax, Va. – (May 2, 2021) – The 2021 Atlantic 10 Outdoor Track & Field Championship came to a conclusion on Sunday at George Mason Stadium in Fairfax, Virginia.
For Fordham, the women's 4x400 relay team of
Sarinnagh Budris,
Kyla Hill,
Helen Connolly, and
Taylor Mascetta was the highlight, as they scored eighth in the event in a season-best time of 3:58.19.
Nicoleta Papavasilakis also posted a season-best performance on Sunday, clocking in at 4:47.85 in the 1,500-meter run, good for 14
th overall.
The lone men's runner on Sunday was
Steven Zucca, who had his best time of the season in the 5,000 meters, posting a time of 15:31.96 for 10
th overall.
In the field events, Fordham's duo of
Amanda Gurth and
Casey Metzler took part in the shot put, finishing 16
th (35' 11 ½") and 18
th (34' 2 ¾"), respectively with
Justin Rhee finishing tenth in the triple jump with a season-best distance of 44' 9".
