Bronx, N.Y. - Today we continue to introduce the Fordham Athletic Hall of Fame, Class of 2021, recognizing the former student-athletes and coaches who will be honored, as we move into the Colonel Francis B. Messmore Aquatics Center to recognize one of women's swimming's all-time greats,
Caitlin Napoli. She joins water polo's
Ali Arat, former head rowing coach Ted Bonanno, women's basketball's Abigail Corning, and softball's Jocelyn Dearborn, men's basketball's Jay Fazande, and men's soccer's Ryan Meara in the class of 2021. They will be among the 13 inductees who will be announced over the next two weeks.

Napoli will join the likes of Frankie Frisch, Vince Lombardi, Wellington Mara, Charlie Yelverton, Anne Gregory O'Connell, and Vin Scully in the Fordham Athletics Hall of Fame. The new class is scheduled to be inducted on 2021 Homecoming weekend on Thursday, October 7, on the Rose Hill campus. Specifics will be released when available.

As part of the ceremony, Fordham will also present the Victory Bell Award as well as honor all current Fordham Athletic Hall of Famers. The Victory Bell will be presented to an individual or individuals who have brought distinction and honor to Fordham University Athletics through achievements not related to competition, coaching and/or administration. The honoree(s) will be selected by the Hall of Fame Committee and will embody a sense of leadership and passion for Fordham Athletics and serve as inspiration to the Fordham Athletics Family.

Caitlin Napoli, Women's Swimming
- Led the women's swimming & diving team to their first ever Atlantic 10 championship in 2010
- Was Atlantic 10 champion in the 500 freestyle and the 800 freestyle relay as a senior in 2010
- Earned Second Team All-A-10 accolades in the 200 free and 200 fly and as a member of the 400 freestyle relay as a senior
- Two-time team captain and team MVP
- Won the 200 and 500 freestyle events as a junior at the Atlantic 10 Championships as well as being a member of the winning 800 Free relay
- 800 freestyle relay set an Atlantic 10 and Fordham record
- Earned Second Team All-Atlantic 10 honors in the 200 butterfly and as part of the 400 freestyle relay as a junior
- Set three individual and three relays records as a junior
- Member of two record-setting relays as a sophomore
- Set 13 school records over her four year career
- Graduated with five school records
- Member of the current school record-holding 800 free relay
- Named Academic All-Atlantic 10 in 2008 and 2009
- Recipient of the Hobbs Family Award as the Outstanding Female Student-Athlete at Fordham in 2010
Napoli currently resides in Ocean, New Jersey, with her husband, Devin Dam, and their newborn son, Jack. She serves as a Senior Consultant with Premier Consulting and Integration.
