Geneva, Ohio – (February 22, 2019) – Day three of the 2019 Atlantic 10 Swimming & Diving Championship has finished at the Spire Institute in Geneva, Ohio, and the Fordham men's swimming & diving team remains in eighth place in the team standings.
The Rams scored in six of seven events on Friday, starting in the first event of the night.
Greg Lombana made the "A" final of the 400 individual medley placing seventh overall in 3:57.44.
After not scoring in the 100 butterfly,
Joseph Vizza made the "A" final of the 200 freestyle event, posting Fordham's best finish of the championship. He grabbed fifth overall in 1:38.86.

In the 100 breaststroke, two Rams made the "B" final, as
Travis Monahan earned 12
th overall in 56.28 seconds, while
Sean Finlay was 16
th in 56.74 seconds.
Auston Ramsay was the next Rams to find the scoring column, as he took 13
th overall in the 100 backstroke in 50.00 seconds.
Over in the diving area, Fordham saw both
Christopher Craig and
Diego Perez qualify for the consolation final in the three-meter competition. Craig ended up 14
th with a score of 211.50, while Perez was 16
th with a total of 188.80.
The final event of the night was the 400 medley relay, where Fordham's group of Ramsay, Monahan,
Spencer Clarke and Vizza placed seventh in 3:20.80.
The final day of the championship begins at 10:00 AM on Saturday with the preliminaries for the 200 backstroke, 100 freestyle, 200 breaststroke, 200 butterfly, 1650 freestyle events.
