Newport News, Va.  – (November 19, 2019) – The Atlantic 10 Conference announced its weekly swimming & diving awards on Tuesday with Fordham freshmen Ethan Murray (Ridgefield, Conn. / Ridgefield) and Alison Lin (Allentown, Pa. / Parkland) earning Men's and Women's Rookie of the Week honors, respectively.  It is the second weekly honor for Murray this season, while being the first for Lin.
 
Murray was a dual event winner in Fordham's win over Fairfield last Wednesday.  He took first in the 200 SCM freestyle event in 1:56.71, while taking the top spot in the 400 SCM freestyle in 4:13.50.
 
Lin captured first place in the 400 SCM freestyle event in a time of 4:29.11 and was a part of the winning 400 SCM medley relay in 4:30.11.  She was also third in the 200 SCM freestyle in 2:09.03.
 
Murray, Lin, and the rest of the Rams are in action on Friday, November 22^nd, at 5:00 PM, when the men host NJIT, while the women host Stony Brook at the Col. Francis B. Messmore Aquatic Center.
