Full Listing of NCAA Division I Cross Country All-Region Teams
New Orleans, La. – (November 18, 2019) – The All-Region teams for the 2019 NCAA Division I Cross Country season were recognized on Monday by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).
A total of 225 men and 225 women from 139 different institutions earned the distinction by finishing among the top-25 runners at one of nine regional sites across the country.
Among those honored was Fordham senior
Ryan Kutch (Holtsville, N.Y.) following his outstanding performance at the NCAA Northeast Regional in Buffalo.
Kutch, who finished fourth at the regional, will be the first Fordham male to appear at the NCAA National Cross Country Championship since the 1977 Rams placed 26th at the championship.
He covered the 10K road course in 28:52.5, just over ten seconds behind the winner, Alex Masai of Hofstra.
Kutch will now head to Terra Haute, Indiana for the 2019 NCAA Cross Country Championship, which takes place on Saturday, November 23
rd. The men's race is slated for 12:15 P.M.
