Newport News, Va.  – (October 29, 2019) – The Atlantic 10 Conference announced its weekly swimming & diving awards on Tuesday with Fordham sophomore Josh Stegen (Pietermaritzburg, South Africa/ Hilton (Indian River CC)) earning Men's Performer of the Week honors.  It is the first weekly honor of Stegen's career, and the second award for the Rams this season.
 
Stegen had a solid week for the Rams in their meets against Marist and Boston University. In Fordham's meet against Boston University, he took first in the 200 freestyle at 1:41.96 and 100 freestyle at 46.93, both of which were faster than his times in those events against Marist.  Stegen also swam a leg of the 400 medley relay that finished second in 3:26.65. 
 
Stegen and the rest of the Rams are next in action on November 9th at Georgetown at 10:00 AM.
