Bronx, N.Y. – (October 16, 2019) - While prepping for their opening meet of the 2019-20 season on Friday, the Fordham swimming & diving team is already in full swing when it comes to their community service work.

This past Saturday, the Rams volunteered their time at the Saturdays in Motion (SIM) annual fundraiser event, hosted at the Somerset Hills YMCA in Basking Ridge, New Jersey.  At Saturdays in Motion, children living with autism and their families join together at the Y on certain Saturdays for two hours of recreation.  The Saturday's in Motion Program is the largest and longest running non-public recreational program for children with autism in the country.

This program is run by YMCA volunteers who help monitor and guide the children through an hour of gym time and a second hour in the pool.
