Bronx, N.Y. – The Fordham men's tennis team defeated Baruch College 5-2 on Senior Day at Hawthorn Rooney Tennis Courts on Sunday in its final regular season match.
The Rams started the match taking the doubles point as
Steven Duka and
Joseph Kavaloski defeated Leonard Margolis and Clement Lacoudre 6-1 at second doubles and
Harris Durkovic and
Cameron Posillico defeated Judah Wertenteil and Jeremy Berman 6-1 at the third doubles position.
In singles play,
Jeremy Chung blanked Wertenteil 6-0, 6-0 at fifth singles, Kavaloski cruised past Berman 6-1, 6-1 at fourth singles and Durkovic clinched the match victory with a 6-1, 6-3 victory over Lacoudre in third singles.
The Rams return to action April 26-29 at the Atlantic 10 Championship, to be held at the USTA National Campus in Orlando, Florida.
