Philadelphia, Pa. – The Fordham women's tennis team fell to conference foe Duquesne 5-2 at the Legacy Tennis Center in Philadelphia on Friday afternoon.

After dropping the doubles point the Rams rallied in singles play as Maia Balce defeated Laurel Shymansky 3-6, 6-3, 6-2 in third singles and Gianna Insogna bested Maddy Adams 6-3, 7-5 in fourth singles but that would be all the Rams would muster as the Dukes went on to secure the match victory.

The Rams return home Saturday April 21 as they host La Salle on Senior Day.
