Harrison, N.Y. – The Fordham women's tennis team saw their three game win streak come to an end as they dropped a hard fought match to St. John's 4-3 at Life Time Athletic on Friday.
After dropping the doubles point, the Rams rallied in singles matches as
Estelle Wong defeated Zofia Stanisz 0-6, 6-4, 6-3 in third singles,
Maia Balce beat Jaide Collins 6-0,6-4 in fourth singles and
Gianna Insogna defeated Irina Preotescu 6-4, 6-4 in sixth singles but the Rams came up one point short as all the Red Storm had to do was split the singles matches to secure the victory.
The Rams return to action Friday February 23 as they travel to West Point, N.Y. to take on Army West Point.
