Men's Tennis Falls at George Washington

Washington, D.C. – The Fordham men's tennis team dropped its match at George Washington 6-1 Saturday evening. The match was moved indoors to Trump National Golf Club due to inclement weather.

The Rams' lone point came in fifth singles as Allen Thornes defeated William Tutecky 8-6.

The match opened with George Washington taking the doubles point as Julius Tverijonas and Chris Fletcher defeated Victor Li and Fabian Mauritzson 6-2 in first doubles, Fernando Sala and Christos Hadjigeorgiou defeated Tomas Cosmai and Allen Thornes 6-2 in second doubles and Chris Reynolds and Jakub Behun defeated Nick Borak and Joseph Kavaloski 6-0 in third doubles.

The Colonials then won five of six singles matches.

The Rams conclude the regular season at George Mason tomorrow morning at 11 a.m.
