Senior Day Photo Gallery

Bronx, N.Y. – The Fordham men's tennis team had a successful Senior Day, winning a pair of matches on the Hawthorn/Rooney Courts, shutting out FDU, 4-0, and Manhattanville, 7-0.
 
The FDU match opened with the Rams taking the doubles point, winning all three doubles matches. Dhananjay Athreya and Dhillon Virdee-Oakley defeated Joshua Oboniye and Tyler Crook at first doubles, 6-3, while Filip Horak and Nicolas Garnier knocked off Gryffin Minor and Benjamin Wrann at the second position, 7-6 (7-5) and Will Lokier and Mateusz Gradzki were victorious over Tauras Mickus and Nate Roberman at third doubles, 7-5.
 
Fordham then won the match by taking the first three completed singles matches, all in straight sets. 3. Virdee-Oakley got it started with a 6-2, 6-1, win over Jorge Alanso-Cortes at third singles before Horak upended Wrann at the fourth position, 6-3, 6-3. Athreya then clinched the match for the Rams with a 6-4, 6-3, win at fifth singles over Asaf Schwartz.
 
Fordham opened the Manhattanville match by winning the doubles point, taking both completed doubles matches. Athreya and Virdee-Oakley were victorious at first doubles over Kazuma Kato and Thomas Jouanneau, 6-3, and Ruben Russwurm and Diego Cueto took second doubles from Elouan Charretteur and Derwin Guzman, 6-2.
 
The Rams then won all six singles matches, all in straight sets for the win. Mateusz Gradzki took first singles from Thomas Jouanneau, 6-2, 6-0, while Lokier was a 6-0, 6-2 winner over Kato at the second spot. Diego Cueto took down Elouan Charretteur at third singles, 6-1, 6-0, and Timotej Stofa knocked off Derwin Guzman at fourth singles, 6-0, 6-4. Russwurm was a 6-2, 6-0 victor over Nicholas Gervasi, 6-2, 6-0, at the fifth position and Cristian Ramos handled Sami Badre-Hume at sixth singles, 6-0, 6-2.
