Full ResultsBOSTON – Taking place over a two-day period, with most of the women's track & field events taking place on Friday and the men's events on Saturday, the Rams competed in the annual Boston University John Thomas Terriers Classic. There is no team scoring but there were several standout performances including junior
Shanna Heaney's ECAC-qualifying time in the 800 meter run.

Fordham went up against a very deep field made up of just under 3,000 athletes representing 80 different universities. Â

Heaney and three others competed in the 800 meter run to kick off Fordham's involvement in the two-day event. The junior finished 23
rd with a personal-best 2:13.03 time and her first ECAC qualifying time in a solo event. Heaney was followed by
Merissa Wright (54
th – 2:18.15),
Brynna Harum (71
st – 2:21.32), and
Laurel Fisher (78
th – 2:22.46). Wright's time was a personal record while Harum and Fisher were making their indoor debuts in the event.

Christina Perrier was the lone Ram in the 400 meter dash and finished 99
th with a time of 1:00.39. Aiden Moroz and
Danielle Rowe, the former setting a personal mark, finished in the 500 meter with 1:17.33 (27
th) and 1:17.94 (37
th) times, respectively.

Likewise, freshmen
Mary Kate Kenny and
Morgan Menzzasalma set new career-best times in the 200 meter dash. Kenny placed 68
th with a time of 25.95 and Menzzasalma crossed 101
st with a 26.34 time.

Freshman
Kate McCormack continued the impressive string of results with a personal-best 5:08.07 time in the mile good for 45
th overall. She was followed by classmate
Angelina Grebe (67
th – 5:16.72) and sophomore
Stephanie Leo (99
th – 5:27.54).

Brianna Tevnan rounded out the solo events on the women's side with a 45
th-place finish in the 3,000 meter run in 10:19.13.

The foursome of Wright, Menzzasalma, Rowe, and Moroz came within one second of the ECAC time with a 3:53.10 4x400 meter relay finish. The group placed 18
th overall. In the distance medley relay, the quartet of Harum, Perrier, Fisher, and Tevnan placed 13
th in 12:26.76.

On the men's slate on Saturday, the 800 meter run was the first event involving a Ram –
Fritz Heinrich debuted in the indoor event and placed 57
th with a 1:56.34 time. Likewise,
Jared Benn was the lone Fordham runner in the 400 meter dash and finished just .17 seconds off an IC4A time, finishing 44
th overall with a 49.37 time.

Louis Santelli nearly set a personal mark with his 1:05.51 time in the 500 meter, good for 11
th overall, and was under a second away from an IC4A qualifying time. Freshman
Eddie Dehais made his debut in the event and finished 17
th in 1:06.04. Classmate
Michael Aman, like Santelli, nearly had himself a IC4A qualifying time with a 22.66 time and a 91
st-place finish.

Three Rams took part in the 1,000 meter and 3,000 meter runs, sandwiched around the 4x400 meter relay.
Sean Phillips, making his debut,
Michael Campbell, and
Patrick Dineen, each setting new personal records in the event, placed 18
th, 34
th, and 38
th, respectively. Phillips finished in 2:29.61, Campbell in 2:32.54, and Dineen in 2:33.49. The quartet of Dehais, Santelli, Benn and Aman finished their 4x400 meter relay in 3:21.16, good for a 25th-place finish.

In the 3,000 meter race,
Thomas Slattery set a personal-best time of 8:25.45 and 44
th-place finish.
Nik O'Brien placed 74
th in 8:35.43 and
Mike Turi 80
th in 8:38.62.
