Swarthmore Box ScoreThe Fordham squash team completed a perfect weekend at the Swarthmore Round Robin on Sunday, defeating both Penn State and host Swarthmore.
With the perfect 4-0 weekend, the Rams improved their overall record to 5-4.
In the opening match on Sunday, Fordham topped Penn State by an 8-1 count.
The Rams started the match with three straight sweeps at the top three spots in the order.Â
Kincade Webster won at the #1 slot over Jesper Carona, 11-3, 11-2, and 11-1, followed by
Peter Yuen topping Josh Pau at the #2 slot, 11-4, 11-3, and 11-5. Then,
Jeremy Keller continued his great weekend with an 11-7, 11-9, 11-4 victory over Ahmed Bahrain at the third slot.
Fordham also picked up sweeps at the fifth through ninth slots with
Jimmy Shinnick,
John Lennon, Shail Bahri,
Matthew Crowe, and
James Potts to increase the edge to 8-0 overall.

Alex LaVersa fought through an injury to force a fifth game against Penn State's Jack Dalton, but couldn't complete the comeback at the fourth slot, falling, 11-7, 11-5, 8-11, 4-11, and 11-4.
Against the host school Swarthmore, Fordham was able to get the complete 9-0 sweep.
All the Rams that won earlier in the day, made it a 2-0 day as each earned their second win, while Robert Levis replaced LaVersa in the Fordham line-up. He was able to pick up a win at the #8 slot, defeating Swarthmore's Tai Warner, 11-1, 11-3, and 11-3.
The Fordham squash team is now off until January, where the Rams will travel overseas for a tour of the United Kingdom, where they will play a total of six matches against various club teams from January 3rd through January 8th.
