Philadelphia, Pa. – (March 1, 2025) – The Fordham squash team concluded play at the 2025 CSA Team Divisional Championship on Saturday at the Arlen Specter U.S. Squash Center in Philadelphia.
The Rams won the fifth place match against Bard College by an 8-1 score.
Fordham started with a 2-0 lead, courtesy of two defaulted matches, before winning six of the seven remaining matches.
Robert Cruikshank won his second position match against Miguel Rodriguez in three games, 11-7, 11-0, and 11-8, while
Nathan Martinez defeated Jacob Nathan at third position, 11-0, 11-1, and 11-1.
Sofia Arseniev took the fourth slot match over Joas Erasmus, 11-3, 11-3, and 11-0 with
Joe Walsh taking down Fasial Jones in the fifth lot, 11-3, 11-0, and 11-1.
Crispin McCarthy (11-3, 11-3, 11-3) and
Lucas Isaacman (11-1, 11-1, 11-1) recorded the final two wins for Fordham at the sixth and seventh slots, respectively over George Miahkov and Yashar Khan.
With the win, Fordham ends the year with a 17-7 record.
