The string of weekly cross country accolades continued for the third straight week on Tuesday, as junior
Quincy O'Connor (Celebration, Fla.) and freshman
Brian Cook (Pearl River, N.Y.) were named the Atlantic 10 Men's Cross Country Performer and Rookie of the Week, respectively, by the league office.
For O'Connor, this is his first Atlantic 10 weekly honor, while it's the second of the season for Cook.
O'Connor led the Rams to a ninth place team finish at the Coast-to-Coast Battle in Beantown over the weekend with a career-best time of 25:39 (8K). O'Connor finished 60
th overall in the meet that featured four nationally ranked squads.
Cook was the Rams' top performer overall at the Coast-to-Coast Battle in Beantown with a time of 25:28 (8K) en route to a 50
th place overall finish.
O'Connor, Cook, and the rest of the cross country team have the week off from competition, but will be back in action on Friday, October 10
th, when the Rams compete in the Metropolitan Championship at Van Cortlandt Park.
