On Saturday, September 13^th, the Fordham cross country/track & field team will be holding its annual Parent/Alumni Outing to kick off the 2014-15 season.
 
The purpose of this event is to get the new season started off right by meeting each other, some alumni, the coaching staff, and former athletes and parents.
 
The event will take place at P.J Harper's Restaurant in Valley Stream, N.Y. from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. The event will be after the Fordham men's and women's cross country teams compete at the LIU-Post Invitational, which is about 25 minutes away from the restaurant.  The restaurant is about 35 minutes from Fordham's Rose Hill campus.
 
With over 35 new faces on our roster, in addition to 40+ returnees, this gives the team an opportunity to meet and welcome each other and their families, and to celebrate the 2014-2015 Fordham Rams.
 
We hope everyone can join the team for an enjoyable afternoon.

Cost: $35 per person; $65 per couple (check made payable to Fordham U. Track & Field)

Directions:  The closest highway is the Southern State Parkway (exit 15 south - Corona Ave.) 400 yards off the exit is a fork—the left fork is Rockaway Ave.  A bit over a mile down on the right (58 Rockaway Ave) is P.J Harper's.
