NFCA ReleaseBRONX, N.Y.-Â Before coming to Rose Hill to begin her career as a student athlete at the end of the summer, incoming freshman Madison Shaw (Raynham, Mass./Bridgewater-Raynham High School) has racked up one final honor for her high school playing days, earning a spot on the NFCA All-America Second Team.

This is the second career NFCA All-America honor for Shaw, who led Bridgewater-Raynham to a 25-1 record and the school's first Division I state title this past spring. In 2013, Shaw was on the NFCA All-America First Team

Individually, Shaw solidified herself as one of the premier hitters in the region in 2014, batting at a .537 clip with five long balls, 20 runs batted in and a slugging percentage of .806. In 67 at bats, Shaw struck out just two times on the year.

In addition to hitting for both average and power, Shaw is also a danger on the base path, swiping 22 bags for the Trojans as a senior.

As a junior in 2013, Shaw was named First Team NFCA All-America after hitting .620 with five home runs and a .962 slugging percentage. Shaw also earned recognition from the NFCA as a sophomore, earning East Region Second Team accolades.
