Fordham was unable to mount a rally against La Salle reliever Adam Cherry, as he retired the final nine batters consecutive to record his first win of the year.
Fordham's
J.C. Porter (3-5) was the hard luck loser in relief, allowing two runs on five hits in three innings of relief. Swatek started the game, but only went one inning, allowing a pair of runs, while
Joseph Serrapica tossed three innings of relief, giving up two earned runs on four hits with three strikeouts.
Greg Weissert tossed the final two innings, allowing one earned run on two hits with three strikeouts.
At the plate, Swatek was 2-for-5 with three runs scored and two stolen bases, while Galiano had two hits and two RBI. McCunney also had two hits to go with a pair of runs scored and a stolen base, with Donadio and Cianci also having multi-hit games.
