2014 Prospect Camp | 2014 Baseball Camps
 
May 28, 2014 - Bronx, N.Y. - Dates for the 2014 Kevin Leighton Baseball Summer Camps and Kevin Leighton Prospect Camp have been announced. The Prospect Camp, open to graduating seniors of the 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018 classes, will be held on Wednesday, July 16, from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. The Baseball Summer Camps for youths 13 and under, will be held for two weeks, from June 30 through July 3 and July 7-11.

The Kevin Leighton Prospect Camp will be held at St. Anthony's High School in Melville, N.Y., due to the field renovations at Houlihan Park.  The day offers all players quality instruction from Fordham University coaches as well as other college coaches. Prospects will have a great opportunity to showcase their abilities in skill work sessions. Prospects will be placed by position, allowing each player to showcase their baseball skills. 

Kevin Leighton Baseball Summer Camps, which will be held at Fordham's Rose Hill Campus, are designed to develop each player's skills by teaching them the fundamentals of the game. Campers will have the opportunity to work with the Fordham University coaching staff, other college and high school coaches, and current college players at a ratio of 10:1 or better. A certified athletic trainer will also be on staff and available while camp is in session. Campers will be placed into age appropriate groups and will work on all facets of the game including hitting, fielding, base-running, and pitching. Detailed instruction will be provided in all aspects of the game; followed by drill stations where campers will have the chance to work on the techniques covered by the coaching staff. This camp is designed for campers to not only learn and improve their skills, but to enjoy and have fun playing the game of baseball.
