Elise Fortier has been named the Atlantic 10 Co-Player of the Week.
The award marks the second of the season for Fortier, who shares this week's honor with Alysha Isaacson of Dayton.
The Coventy, R.I., native struggled against Hofstra to start the week, but shook off that performance with a vengeance on Saturday against the Patriots. After going 2-3 with a sac fly in the opener of the twin bill, Fortier went 4-4 in game number two, finishing just a triple shy of the cycle and tying a career-high with five RBI.
Fortier and the Rams have a busy week ahead of them, hosting St. John's tomorrow afternoon at 3:00 PM before traveling to Bethlehem, Pa., for a 3:30 tilt against Lehigh on Wednesday.
