Fordham freshman outfielder Mark Donadio (Mt. Sinai, N.Y./Mt. Sinai) was named Atlantic 10 Baseball Rookie of the Week, it was announced on Monday.  He is the second Fordham freshman to earn the honor this season, joining Greg Weissert.
 
Donadio hit .312 for the week (5-for-16) with a double, a home run, and five RBI.  He hit his first career home run on Tuesday against Albany, and registered at least one RBI in four of his five games on the week.   He collected two hits and an RBI in Fordham's series opener against Rhode Island and had a hit and an RBI in Fordham's shutout win on Saturday.
 
Donadio and the rest of the baseball team are back in action on Tuesday, April 8^th, when the Rams travel to Lakewood, N.J. for a game against the Rutgers Scarlet Knights with game time set for 6:00 PM.  The game will be played at First Energy Park, home of the Lakewood Blueclaws, the Single-A affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies.
