Bronx, N.Y. (February 19, 2014) – The Fordham University men's and women's swimming and diving squad will compete in the 2014 Atlantic 10 Men's and Women's Swimming & Diving Championships, to be held Feb. 19-22 at the SPIRE Institute in Geneva, Ohio.
 
The Fordham women will look for their second A-10 title and to snap Richmond's current year-year championship streak. The Rams, who finished third at last year's championship, will be led by Shannon Lulley, who earned Second Team All-Conference honors in both the 100 butterfly and 200 IM last year. Lulley was also a member of the 200 medley relay and 200 free relay, along with his sister, Chandler, which also finished second last year.
 
On the men's side, the Rams will be looking to improve on last year's fifth place finish. Fordham returns Shintaro Noguchi and Steve Sholdra, who each won an event last year. Noguchi placed first in the 100 butterfly while Sholdra was the fastest 1650 freestyle
