Box Score

The Fordham squash team finished its run at the CSA Team Championship on Sunday in Cambridge, Massachusetts, as the Rams took on Washington in the fifth place match of the Hawthorn Cup Division.  The Rams were able to end the season with a 6-3 win to post an overall winning season.

Washington played the match with only seven players, giving Fordham a 2-0 lead by default.  The Rams would not need that advantage, as Fordham won four of the remaining seven slots.

The lone bottom third match saw Ross Garlick defeat Steve Shi in straight sets at the seventh slot, 11-4, 11-5, and 11-4.

In the middle third of the ladder, Fordham took home two of the three matches, as Alex LaVersa topped BG Court, 11-7, 11-6, 13-11, at the #4 slot, while in the fifth slot,  Jimmy Shinnick knocked off Reid Johnson in four sets, 17-15, 11-8, 1-11, and 13-11.

The Rams' final match win came at the #2 slot, where Jeremy Keller took home a straight set win over Jai Padmakumar, 14-12, 11-5, and 11-9.

The win puts Fordham's season-ending record at 11-10 overall.
