Squash Drops Opening Match at CSA Divisional Championship

Philadelphia, Pa. – (February 27, 2026) – The Fordham squash team opened play at the CSA Divisional Team Championship on Friday, held at the Arlen Specter U.S. Squash Center, falling to Hobart by a 6-3 score.
 
THE MATCH

• Hobart earned wins at the top five slots against the Rams.
• Fredrik Schreiber-Wacnik posted a three-game win for Fordham over Mason Graham at sixth position, 11-1, 11-2, and 11-5.
• Nathan Martinez followed with a seventh slot win over Hobart's Miles Mackey, 11-9, 11-7, and 11-5.
• The Rams' final team point came from Joe Walsh at ninth position, winning a five-game match over Billy Gantcher, 13-11, 5-11, 11-6, 3-11, and 11-5.
• Charlie Friedman fell short in his eighth slot match against Jayden Saldana, dropping the match in five games, 3-11, 6-11, 12-10, 11-5, and 11-7.
• Nicholas Gilman (1^st), Adam Sakr (3^rd), and Tyler Christensen (4^th) each fell in four games in their respective matches.

• The Rams are in action twice on Saturday, February 28^th, against Connecticut College (12:00 PM) and Haverford (6:00 PM).
