Bronx, N.Y. (October 9, 2014) -  The Fordham University football Rams will return to the friendly confines of Jack Coffey Field to host the University of Pennsylvania Quakers on Saturday, October 11 at 1:00 p.m.

The game will be streamed live on the Patriot League Network and can also be heard live on WFUV (90.7 FM) and on WFUV.org with Mike Watts (p-b-p) and Nick Logerfo (color) handling the announcing chores and DJ Sixsmith on the sidelines.

#14/18 Fordham, 5-1 on the year, enters the game after a 42-18 Patriot League win over Lafayette on Jack Coffey Field last Friday night. Penn, 0-3 this season, enters the contest after a 31-13 Ivy League loss at Dartmouth last week.

A few notes on the game:

Joining captains Stephen Hodge, Dan Light and Ian Williams will be Fordham game captains Chase Edmonds (offense), Austin Hancock (defense) and Michael Marando (special teams)

The scout team players of the week were announced following practice: Kyvaune Brammer (offense), David Conroy (defense) and Conor Cassidy (special teams)

This will be the sixth meeting between Fordham and Penn on the gridiron with the Quakers winning the first five matchups, including a 35-20 win on Philadelphia in 2011 in the last meeting between the two teams

Fordham has won its past five meetings with Ivy League teams, including the victory over Columbia earlier this year

Penn is the only Ivy League team that the Rams have not beaten and only one of two teams that the Fordham has played at least five times without recording a victory (Ithaca)

The Rams swept  the Patriot League weekly award last week with Mike Nebrich (Offensive), Brett Biestek (Defensive), Michael Marando (Special Team) and Chase Edmonds (Rookie) being honored. It was Edmonds' fifth Patriot League Rookie of the Week honor.

Speaking of Edmonds, he was named to the Jerry Rice Award Watch List this week, an award which goes to the NCAA FCS Rookie of the Year (click here for full story).
